I don't remember exactly, but I had an affinity for velcro shoes even
long after I was able to tie laces. Velcro is faster, and it never
comes undone at inconvenient times like laces do. I still wonder why
nobody makes velcro shoes for adults.
It took me a long time... I can't remember what age it was exactly, but I remember it was "an issue" that I could not do it. My mom still needles me about it to this day.

Well, I suppose this started because of my post. As I said, I believe I was 6. I know I wasn't any older. It was one of like 2 times I felt a little behind others before 10years of age. Even at that though, it wasn't far behind. My problems were dexterity and mirroring someone elses actions. I'm pretty good at mirroring now.

Think I was about seven or eight. Remember I got kicked in the shin by the 'Golden girl/school brainiac' at school because I just had no idea how to do it. My Laces still come undone now...
