i had no idea LCD was so interesting. i just assumed it was a grid of red, green, and blue mini LED inside each square pixel. i thought it was simply a matter of more delicate LEDs, smaller pixels, and lots and lots of them.

I was researching the ideal LCD years ago it would need to be atleast 64 grey scale or
what ever the current reseach is on the human eyes sensitivty is. Plus the resolution would have to be much higher so it is as great or slightly greater than the eye can detect. I forgot the number but its like 10 pixels per mm I think. And be very large in size bigger than 19". Such a LCD might be a pleasure to read from.

I got myself two TFTs recently, they're great. ;)

Great value too, I got one for €150 (online) and my piano teacher offered me a spare TFT for €100.
