/me enjoys Philosophy but gets incredibly tired of Philosophy Major students in her school who never THINK and only enjoy dropping terms as if dropping names: "Look what I know." Eck!

/me often wants to simply slap them and say "Go outisde and see for yourself! There's plenty of philosophy in the world around you! You can't know Philosophy from a BOOK!! !"

oi. I'm finished ranting now. :)

The basic rule of philosophy is: Understand that you know nothing. Those students are obviously breaking the basic rule of what they are trying to learn about.

You're nott he only one. I think philosophy is something you must develop on your own. Not by simply reading a book and taking a course and say: ``now i know what philosophy is!''.

/me agrees with De_Zeurkous and has clearly noted there are no other Aspies in her last Philosophy class. A strong social inclination and trying to decide whether you are the only being in existence do not quite go together, lol.

sigh.

Fire alarms
Movie/TV production company logos
Soda
