Rant away!! !

I stayed home from work because I'm feeling really suicidal and am trying to not get even more stressed out, and my aunt is being an as*hole about it. I literally don't f*****g care about not having sick time, my manager can fire me IDGAF. I don't need someone to lecture me every time I don't go to work. I'm also obviously not "sick" anymore, but people are so f*****g clueless and just want to find something they can jab at me over and try to make me feel bad for not "taking care of". And I literally don't care if she is "disappointed" in me over whatever because I'm disappointed that everyone in my family f*****g sucks and always makes me feel even more like I want to blow my brains out. We are both lucky that her unnecessarily being an ass to me this morning and how pissed off it made me didnt push me to just f*****g do it like I wanted to after that. It's good that at this point I've trained myself to just try to sleep things off instead of impulsively trying to KMS or hurt myself.

I accept that your reason for making the post I removed is real and valid, and had nothing to do with WP - I could have asked, I should have asked; I sincerely apologise for not doing so and for the hurt caused.

I sent my aunt a text (a calm and not mean one lmao) about how I've been feeling and why I stayed home and how her reaction made me feel and I feel super nauseous because I don't know if I should have done that or how she will react, but she kept telling me more s**t like my managers not being happy and it was making me feel so much worse and I just want her to get why I didn't go today and to just stop.

How your aunt reacts to that text will show you if she genuinely cares for you or not.

If she is sorry and tries to help you, you will know she does care.

If she tells you off or blames you or is negative, you will know she doesn't care and you can't trust her.

So the text will at the least give you a baseline to work from with her.

God, my f**king mother! She has always treated me like a nuisance, made it clear that her friends and social life were far more important than me. She did that with my daughter too. I am her only child and my daughter is her only grandchild so you'd think she'd value us more.

She moved to live in the same village as us some years ago. It was awful. She was constantly popping in to say nasty things to me, but acted like the perfect mother in public. She was horrible to me during my pregnancy, even though she'd told me for years how she longed for a grandchild. She only liked her grandchild til she was about 2, then couldn't commit to helping me, she had to be free to socialise and go on holidays. Now she moans about how she never saw much of her grandchild when she was little. As if we kept her from her, we were here all along while my mother was gallivanting around on holidays etc.

Then she moved 2 hours drive away and now she phones all the time saying how much she misses us. How she looks forward to seeing us. How worried she is about us all the time.

Erm...SHE moved away? She was 5 minutes walk away now she's 2 hours drive away? Whose choice was that?

And when we do visit her, she gets annoyed with us after 2 hours and leaves.

So I'm not falling for her fake concern and worried phone calls
