first period I was 11, it was in the spring at the same time as the science fair and my mother wanted me to drop out of it because I was 'sick'.

last period was on my birthday ( intersting birthday present) when I was 54.

I know you didn't ask about the last one, nor how menopause is for an Aspie and here I am with all that information. . but no one asks..

I was 17, almost 18 when I got mine. Mum said, "If you don't get your monthly by the time you're 18 I'm taking you to the doctor!"
So I got it on Christmas Day, two months before I turned 18. Yeah, thanks Mum.

I do wonder why I was so late but at the time I was glad of it.
