yes that's right
post them here

Maybe i am geting a bit technical well. . . . . .

I am unsure of the mission impossible theme though.

I like how some musicals have
Time Signature hybrid's for instance

It starts as 3/4 gradually increasing tempo then onto a nice 6/8 tempo increasing more
you got a, 4 beat measure 12/8 signature then 4/4 back to 12/8 ect. . . . .

here is a few:

Diasy bell ( A bicycle built for two) traditional 3/4
kiss by a rose seal 3/4
golden brown the stranglers 3/4

It must be love madness 2/4

crazy pasty cline : 6/8
Mr lonley Bobby Vinton : 6/8

3 blind mice : traditional 12/8
killer queen : queen 12/8
chain reaction Diana Ross 12/8

Money by Pink Floyd - 7/4.

Actually any progressive rock band will use tons of odd time sigs. Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Dream Theater, etc.

It doesn't count, but the Isengard theme in LOTR was written in 5/4. (no idea what that means, actually, but it's not 4/4!)

Soundgarden liked to use non-standard time signatures (Outshined, Fell on Black Days) -- they were definitely the proggers of the big grunge bands. THe 6/4 of the Pixies' Vamos is pretty fun. =)

I didnt think it was so unusual not to be 4/4.
Is it ?

Currently listening to Dylan, "Hattie Carrol" definately not 4/4.

[There's many things i count, music isn't one of them. I don't really want to start either, but it would be nice to know a bit of theory.]

...Is Vinton's " MR. LONELY " a well-known record in the UK , especially among under-30s , as far as " oldies " go ?????????
I'd seen the animated movie " SWEPT AWAY " , with Jackman/Winslet's voices , and a joke revolved around using a (new) recording of it . I'd somehow have thought that it would not have been .

12/4 ????????

does it sound anything like 12/8?

With 12/8 The drum fills in these songs, sound
slightly delayed, Unlike 4/4

They can both be compound quadruples, so probably, but here's a video featuring the song so that you can hear it for yourself :)
It does switch to 4/4 in the orchestral parts but is mainly 12/4.
"Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" also uses multiple time signatures as do many of their other songs.

I'm surprised Take 5 by the Dave Brubeck Quartet (5/4) and "America" from West Side Story (6/8-3/4) haven't been mentioned as they're among the most famous of examples, but they have been now ;)

I'm particularly fond of Death Blooms by Mudvayne, which is partially in 29/16 8O
