At my previous place of employment they sussed out that I was not interested in working.

One women who was kinda like an assistant boss to me in my job made a remark to me not long before my contract ended "you know there are interesting jobs you could look into applying for when your finished with us" and she continued "looking into applying for those jobs is better than bumming around all day watching cartoons"

What do you think she might have thought about me as a person judging by that "bumming around all day comment"?

She thought you wanted to sit on your butt and watch cartoons all day.

Sorry about that. But that's what she thought.

The general term for people who don't want to work is "slacker."

It doesn't mean that you are a "slacker." It just means that the woman thought that way. It very well might not be correct.
