I haven't been censored since my "aunt" (friend-of-the-family / adoptive mother) died----and, I was in my FORTIES, when she was doing this!!

She used to say things, like: "Why do you SAY things, like that?", "You CAN'T talk to people, like that!", "You mustn't go-around intimidating people, all-the-time". Funny, I thought if people were intimidated by me, it was THEIR fault----I certainly didn't plan it!! She even said: "Shut UP!!", in front of several people, and I was in my forties!! By the time she died, I had almost NO respect for her, and didn't even cry at her funeral cuz I was GLAD, she was gone.

I think the appropriate word here is 'criticized', not 'censored', which implies that expression is actually being blocked.

Maybe the word the OP was looking for was "censure" ?

Probably that too, though I myself am still meaning censor as well.

Censor (verb)
1. examine (a book, movie, etc.) officially and suppress unacceptable parts of it.
"my mail was being censored"
synonyms: cut, delete parts of, make cuts in, blue-pencil, redact; edit, expurgate, bowdlerize, sanitize; informalclean up

Another term that's fitting: to silence. Or to quash, subdue, suppress, gag.

If you don't alter your conversation to consider the other person, you're doing it wrong.

If someone is telling you you're being intimidating, you might be bordering on being put in jail. You might only be getting away with it because of your autism.

Logic is pointless without emotion, since emotion is what drives people. Emotion is not even against logic. Emotions are themselves logical. Discounting then is stupid.

Some people don't know what'censored' means.

It's only censoring if they have the power to physically stop you from doing or saying things. Otherwise it's just criticism and it's your choice whether or not to pay attention to it.
