I was wondering what your various dream patterns were like. I have a tendancy towards really long confounded silly dreams...often reccurring..like there will be the same place that exists only in the dream..though the dream will be different. I sometimes keep a dream journal, and if one were to ever read my blog they would notice that the majority of my entries are recaps of dreams. I have even had preminatory dreams a few times...(where I dreampt something and then later it happened)
Anyone else?

Sometimes, (meaning most of the time) I don't have dreams, but when I do, they're usually recurring strange or simple dreams, like sitting out at night staring at the moon, or running into a wall and falling down, and lying there not wanting to get up.

When I remember dreams. they are always wierd, they rarely take place in this world, and never have any connection to my life in this reality. Some deal with a strange place, a city build on stakes high above the ground.

No matter where the location of my dreams are, I always see an AEC-PRV Routemaster, with the rosey cheeks.

I dream every night. Most of the time I cannot separate dreams; that is, even though it should logically be two or more different dreams, they blend together. Lately, most of them are a mix of nightmares and random/weird stuff. They're never exactly the same, but they follow a similar pattern: I'm lost somewhere or I can't learn something.
I also have preminatory dreams. It runs in my family.
And I sleepwalk to a certain, small amount. If I do walk in my sleep, it conicides with my dream.

I used to have a lot of dreams that took place in reoccurring locations, all of which were fictional: a tiny downtown city in the middle of a wheat field, a small town on an interstate somewhere in Montana, and an observatory inside a golf course. Each of the places had various shops and features that I revisited, but the people weren't memorable.

I also used to have a lot of dreams about nuclear war and tornadoes. At least 200 nuke dreams, and probably about 50 tornado dreams. I always survived, somehow.

Since I've been on medication, my dreams have shifted quite a bit and don't show a clear pattern. My most recent dream (this morning) had me on a mundane quest with Laura Croft (Tomb Raider protagonist). She was strangely meek and apprehensive. I started to make out with her and then woke up. I always wake up at that point.

here is an example of my dreams...taken from my blog..which is on another site:

Quote:
more dreams Wed, February 21, 2007 - 9:30 AM
dreamed that I found a good old friend of mine passed out in front of the gate on our patio and he was wearing a bunch of gawdy rhinestone jewellry..big clunky dollar sign rhinestone earrings and whatnot...
He was having serious relationship problems.
I told him to come to work with us and wecould talk about it
He wanted to first stop at Long John Silvers
and so I said I would ride with him
I should give him a call...(in real life)

Dreamed also this crazy dream..lets see..it started out like a movie and then I was in the movie and in the beginning there was this HUGE accident in a small rural town...An old-timey pickup truck hits a school bus that explodes and there is this chain reaction...of different explosions...and all hell breaks loose..and i am in the car with this older couple who are supposed to be my parents or something..(only in the dream)We are on our way to some sort of party maybe?
Because of all the explosions everywhere we stop and try to take refuge in the home of this black lady who is familiar to us...and I think she is supposed to be some kind of fortune teller. She lives in a small dark garage apartment with a tv set and several children who are calmly and quietly watching tv with her in the dark.
My dream/movie mom yells franticly at the locked screen door to be let inside and is ignored..I calmly address the lady by her name and she sends one of the children over to unlock the screen door. I try to tell her about the crazy s**t that is happening outside and she calmly indicates that she already knows and says something about the driver of the truck that hit the school bus....
Then the movie takes a sorta weird supernatural turn...
and there is all this battle between the living and the dead sorta stuff...kinda like a zombie movie but not really.
There are all these weird demons and stuff but the people of the town don't know that they are demons....and they challenge them to weird battles of wits with their lives/souls at stake..but most of the people in the town submit to these challenges not thinking that they are real..thinking that this weird demon guy is just some friend of theirs in a costume...and don't realise it until it is too late...and the weird demon guy who has these arms like gnarled up tree branches has sucked out their soul...or something...it gets pretty convalluted and unmemorable up at this point...

Most of my dreams have the same scenes or same people in them. Often, they are crazier than in real life.

And then sometimes I have dreams in which I am alone, meaning physically being alone.

As for the scenes in which they take place, it takes place in a wide variety of locations, sometimes a city, other times in some forest or desert.

I hate dreams where something you always wished happened to you happens, and then you wake up 8O , and you want to go and cry. The only dreams I can remember like this are:
Many years ago when I dreamt I got a toy star wars spaceship I always wanted.
And winning the lottery.

I always remember the recurring dream I had when I was younger, when I had a birthday party and realised that I could fly! Then I would start to fall and you would literally physically get that weird feeling in your stomach which says 'you're gonna die, uh-oh!'. Just before I meet my doom I woke up.
