Therapist now says I can claim a "preliminary diagnosis"
Not that long ago I shared here something discovered during a doctor's visit. When my files were brought up on the doctor's computer screen, I noticed it very plainly said at one point "Probable Asperger's Syndrome".
Now, the doctor is a psychiatrist, my therapist is a psychologist, the latter had ID'd me as autistic, and when the doctor heard that, the doctor's reaction was a slow "Good catch".
Problem is, neither of them, technically, is qualified to do the final diagnosis.
Anyway, at this week's appointment with the therapist, he was asked "Do I currently have a 'preliminary diagnosis of Asperger's'?" He surprised me by saying "Yes".
Yet another step closer...

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits
What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".
Wanted to edit the above, but that option has disappeared.
I notice dozens and dozens of views on this post, but nobody's replied.
Does anyone have any comment, or has anyone else been in this position, whether you're fully diagnosed now, or not?
