Hey, i am (the) Equalizer. Pdd-nos.
I landed on the wrong planet, anyone got a spaceship i can borrow so i can head back to planet x?
All joking aside, i come here to ask you a couple of things;
1. How do you cope with your autism?
2. If any, how do you deal with bullying?
3. Conversations, how to handle them?
4. Voice problems?
5. How to maintain schedules?
6. I have a lack of discipline, how do i regain it?
7. Unhealthy foods, how do i stay away from them? It seems i'm attracted to the unhealthy foods.
8. Memory, anyone got problems with memory?
9. Laziness, how to overcome?
10. Eye contact/staring, mayor problem. Particularly with women. I notice myself going from the eyes to the second pair of eyes in minutes.
11. Relationships?
12. Work?
Hiya. I'm new here too.
1. I just, deal with it I suppose...
2. I kind of just ignore it now...I have my "partners" to reassure me (more on that later)
3. I'm pretty good with conversations as long it's someone I know...
4. I slur my R's
5. I...don't have a schedule at all...which causes problems in my homeschooling.
6. ???
7. My mom just doesn't buy them. If it's not in the house I can't eat it.
8. Sometimes, but it's more procrastination if anything.
9. I struggle with this daily. Sorry, need help this too, lol.
10. I'm kind of okay with eye contact I think? Usually with my friends we aren't looking at each other when we talk. We're walking or doing our own thing.
11. Two imaginary girlfriends. Yes, really. And before the accusations fly, I have had two past real relationships. First one ended badly and threw me into depression. I still have to take Prozac daily. Second one, I just got tired of, because they never made an effort to talk me... I know my 'current' girlfriends are fake but they are comforting to have...
12. Don't have a job yet, I did volunteering that was kind of like a job...

I get sort of anxious when i get in a conversation, my vision blurs a bit in some situations, dry mouth/throat, sweat under the arms breaks out. I get in the conversation normally, all of a sudden this happens. I'm like; c'mon brain/body don't do this to me. It also feels as if a big weight comes from above and lands on my head. Hard to describe really.
I don't laugh unless it's genuine, unlike many people who put up a fake smile.
I don't really think/can't think when around others depending on the situation, i just know or i don't know if that makes any sense. I think i don't really sense i am thinking at times. Idk it's crazy.
Any tips or tricks?
ps: thanks!

Hello, and welcome to WP!
I can comment on a few of those points fairly easily.
1 Accept it, and look at the positives, there are plenty of those.
4 I think aspies tend to have some speech quarks sometimes, I know I do.
5 I don't, it's funner that way!
6 I have problem with that too, idk, I suppose finding an inner drive for working toward something helps?
7 Just don't eat them, that's what I do, it get's much easier after a while.
8 My sister calls me "goldie" because I instantly forget what people say to me sometimes :p
10 I am very squeamish about looking at people generally, especially in the eyes, sunglasses helps.

Hi,
That's a lot to ask in your "hello" post: try some of the sub-forums. I'll offer one-line, sound-byte style answers to some of your questions.
1. Quite importantly, reframe yourself so you don't call it coping. How do you cope with being tall/short? How do you cope being that gender? How do you cope being that race? Coping can be a negative word.
3. Still learning. Every day, still learning.
5-7, 9. Slowly. A little bit at a time. Don't reach too high only to fail and become discouraged. Achieve small goals and look back at how far you've come.
10. I'm not a psychologist, but that that sounds like improperly dealt-with sexual frustration.
