Dino-Aspie Roll Call

Hi fellow Dino-Aspies,

I would like to create a roll call, a list of who each one of us is. If you want to participate, please copy, paste and fill out the below list. You may fill out as many or as few of the items on the list. The more you fill out the better for the rest of us to get to know you.

One thing though... you MUST be 40 and above to qualify for the roll call. I am sorry if you feel left out, but I need to set a border for reference somewhere and 40 seemed to me as 'old enough' to qualify... Now, if you are just a few months short of being 40, that should not be an issue, go ahead and join in.

Here is the question list:

I am married/have a partner: not married had 2 relationships that ended badly
I have kids: no kids
My kids have AS: n/a
I would like to have a relationship because: I like to travel and would like to find someone to travel with me. It does't have to be a live-together thing, more a travel-together thing.
I don't want a relationship because: I do not want to get married (but I dislike being alone all the time)
I have other medical/health issues: I have heart problems, and an neuromuscular condition. If you want more details PM me.
One more thing I want to add: I would prefer to meet someone from Europe, not necessarily my own country. I speak many langauges and travel often to Greece (I was born there) so if someone is interested to join me in my travels, plese PM me.

My diagnosis is: AS, self.. Bipolar offical, which I'm questioning
I was diagnosed in: a few months ago 07
I live in: Millerton, Penna, America
I am married/have a partner: Married
I have kids: 1 biological, that I know of, many other types kids-in-law, kids from previous marrige, grand kids, great grandkids
My kids have AS: don't know
I would like to have a relationship because: 1 marrige before, lived with others that never lasted over a year, to many others to count
I don't want a relationship because: I like this one, but can be wearing at times, but over all very good and getting better. Second wife isn't out of the question, most likely never happen.
I have other medical/health issues: Hepititus C, Deslexic, ADD?, still sorting because of AS being new (as in knowing), some others which I ignore
One more thing I want to add: I would like my memory back and still look for meds to give me some help. Different meds give me better results, from bad to good. So the mood stabilizer route I'm on has a downside. The Hep C leaves me alone and I leave it alone, but has changed my out look on life, for the positive. My wife has been seriously ill for a very long time.

I'm guessing it's sort of small talk. Delete your post if you're uncomfortable with it. Maybe it's an enthnogrphy in progress. I dunno ask.

It is not information that your supposed or required to give, it's my curiocity. I was reading the other Dino-Aspie forum and I was just curious who everyone is. I am interested in astrology so I thought to ask about birthdays, I am interested to see how you all, who are around my age, found out about having AS, etc. And yes, I am also curious to se if there are others like me who might be looking for a possible friend/mate...

I hope this answers your questions. No demographics, no research, no data... maybe just a date! (If one gets lucky, LOL)

I live in: Bellingham, WA, USA
I am married/have a partner: Never married
I have kids: Nope.
My kids have AS: My nephew has ADD, but he acts Aspie.
I would like to have a relationship because: I think it might be nice, and sometimes I get painfully lonely, but we'll see.
I don't want a relationship because: It's a lot of work, and I take a lot of work.
I have other medical/health issues: Yeah, but they have resolved or are controllable.
One more thing I want to add: Sometimes I am easily confused, and I don't know where I stand with people even after I ask them and they answer me, because people lie to keep from hurting one's feelings or to avoid confrontation. I also play too much Spider Solitaire.

I'm childfree. Have 2 whippets
Don't have a relationship, I learnt to like being alone and I suspect relationships are too complex for me.
At 50 people generally do have other health issues.
One more thing I want to add: I smoke a lot and I'm a christian.

I have other medical issues: Yes, a mild seizure disorder, fortunately controlled by medication. I don't think I could ever have kids because of my medication.
One more thing I'd like to add: I love cats, especially striped kitties such as tabbies, OSH and Lynx (Tabby) point Siamese. I had a Lynx point Siamese girl who lived to be 20.

I would like to have a relationship because: I never thought i wanted one till i met my husband who is NT - but convinced me to get dx to help me cope with assorted issues and enjoy myself for who I am
I have other medical/health issues: dislexia/discalc.. (the numbers one) ADD. suffered siezures from medication which left me forgetful. I refuse any and all meds other than the occasional tylenol.
One more thing I want to add: I am phobic of cats. I am a Christian and don't like it when people speak badly about things they do not understand. i. e. "I hate Christians." How would YOU fell if i said "I hate gays/lesbians/ gamers or autistics." Get it?
