That's exactly the rut I'm in lately always.
The sad thing is my ADHD Is treated but it doesn't make any difference.

Story of my life too and a big part of why I'm ambivalent to medication.

My doctor prescribed a dosage increase on my stimulant but I haven't received the meds yet.
If it happens to work a miracle I'll let you know, but I have a feeling it won't make a difference other than adding to my insomnia. It's already hard to sleep even with prescription sedatives every night.

^^ Different meds can increase of decrease individual Executive Functions. But "too high" and "too low" is still not "working fine". And cranking up the volume on one EF but down on another is perfectly possible when you take a pill.
EFs - 3 or 4 or more?
When you're ill you take a pill
When you're thirsty drink your fill
But what's you going a do when (insert your neuro-cognative defect here) gets a hold -
a hold on you?

I have to be honest Fenn, I still have trouble with all of those. My meds haven't touched them.
