Does anyone agree that this is so ironic?

Yet another reason not to go "clubbing", it seems all too often alcohol and socialization lead to violence. Alcohol is about one of the most dangerous substances on Earth, and not just what it does to a person physically.

Irony is humorous, this is just sad.

True, but in many circumstances when a person does "something good", something that is viewed as "bad" usually happens to that person, as if what the person did in the first place should not have happened at all. However, there are many definitions of what irony is.

This is one of them.

Stone has been stabbed, in an attack with no connection to terrorism, and if he hadn't been taping a TV show Skarlatos would have been at Umpqua in time to be shot by a madman with no connection to terrorism. I trust Sadler and Norman are keeping a wary eye out for random deadly violence with no connection to terrorism. Apparently it's going around.
