Peewee in Front Mission, because you have to spend the whole damn time defending him! Great game otherwise, though.

Pretty much any character in any game who you have to escort through hostile terrain. The nuclear inspectors in Mercenaries, Captain Keyes in Halo, and so on. They are often horribly weak, have a complete absence of self-preservation skills and seem to have a deathwish when it comes to throwing themselves in the way of enemy fire.

I dunno, I kinda love the Helghast... just when you think the area is clear, you suddenly hear a voice scream "HE'S OVER THEIR!" or "KEEP QUIET!" or even "SNEAK UP ON HIM!"... oh look, it's a Helghast unit. Worst. AI. EVER.

Marcus from Fire Emblem deserves to be on this list. He has trashy stat growths, bad stats in the long run, and he is a waste of time and experience. End result of training him: not worth it.
