Het koekje hierboven is geen scheldwoord, en in bepaald opzicht is het weer wel een scheldwoord. Mensen met een bepaalde vorm van dyslexie lezen er dingen in die de mainstream lezer er niet in leest.
Ik eet het koekje wel eens, maar als scheldwoord gebruik ik het nooit, tenminste niet in verbaal opzicht.

ah so, thank you :) in amuuuurica, "janus-faced" [after the two-faced roman god] is what we say here for that. "fake-ass" here has a different meaning, it is a reinforcement or exaggeration of fake. like saying totally extra-fake. it was originally fake-assED but the past-tense ending fell by the wayside early on. you could put "ass" at the end of various adjectives, such as poor-ass, rich-ass, dumb-ass, smart-ass, wise-ass, clever-ass etc.

De oligarch in de afbeelding heeft qua naam ook iets wat in de lijn van Traven valt. Als ik de naam van deze rijke meneer vertaal richting het Nederlands dan komt er iets in mijn beeld denken naar boven, een anus. Zo zullen de verre voorvaderen van Bill het natuurlijk niet bedoelt hebben, echter, de gaten van billen zijn niet bepaald een benaming die je andere toewerpt. De gaten van billen zijn overigens wel erg handig om afvalstoffen te lozen.

Thats interesting for a number of reasons. Mainly because the two F words are probably related in origin.

The consensus among linguists is that the English F-bomb is an ancient word that was brought over to Britain by the Germanic tribes (Angles, Saxons, etc) that invaded Britain from north germany and the netherlands (those places didnt exist as countries yet) shortly after the fall of Rome, and who drove the Celts out of southeast Britain, and became the English.

Dutch is a cousin of English and its likely that our F bomb, and the Dutch word are both descended from some ancient Germanic word for "Breed".

Also it explains Anthony Fokker's family name (the Dutch genius who designed biplanes for the German Kaiser in WWI, and figured out how to shoot bullets through spinning props). His distant ancestors must have been livestock breeders.

Collaboration

Hijo de puta: Son of a b***h.

Imbécil: moron.

Vete a tomar por culo: go f**k yourself.

Gilipollas: I don´t know how to translate it, "as*hole" maybe. Is like "imbécil" but more heavy.

Subnormal: ret*d.

Maricón: Fagot.

Tontolaba: Like "Imbécil".

Jiñarse: To be scared. Te has jiñado: You are scared.

Comepollas: Cocksucker.

Payaso (insult): Douchebag. "Payaso" without insult translates as "clown".

Ir a saco Paco: To go all out.
