How do you deactivate your account?

I am really struggling with being paranoid that people are going to have a go at me, I won't be able to sleep tonight till it's deactivated.. I will come back on wrong planet in a few years but at the minuet I need it gone, it's causing me too much stress

I just want to say a big Thankyou to everyone who spent time to message me and supported me. This sight is amazing I am just to scared to be on it :(

I stumbled onto this thread a while back - apparently you can ask a moderator to remove your access to your account, but they can't delete it altogether:

That being said, you really don't need to run away! Folks here understand being nervous, making social blunders, not expressing yourself properly... It's the story of our lives, and no one is judging you for that! You're in good company here, and it's a great place to learn to overcome your anxiety, rather than run away! :)

I have been harassed and played games on, which has lead to similar reactions. I can't trust anyone and have tremendous anxiety to the point I have heart problems (my father died young because of them). It has really ruined my life.

I try my best to try the tactics that are taught to people with PTSD. They might help your anxiety too. Like touching something, or counting backwards etc. when the anxiety starts to build. It's about focusing on real things instead of the constant sense of threat.
