Murphy's in-laws - good one!

I can follow ordinary humour now, but as a youngster and a younger adult I was allways critisized for being "so bloody serious" and all my efforts to learn the family humour (academic with an ironic "popular" twist) fell to the floor. I admit, my attempts were far fetched and laboriously constructed.

Any media or movie examples? I think Friends was a funny show. I also have the Gallows humor a lot. And random clips on Youtube, lately i've been watching angry people in public News bloopers and such..

What did the Zen Buddhist say to the hot dog vendor?
Make me one with everything.

People often say that I have a witty sense of humor.

But there weren't hot dog vendors back then.
