Women/girls:
Do you dislike jewelry because it's annoying?
Do you wear the same pair of earrings for at least a year before changing them?
Are you a jewelry minimalist?

I've worn the same pair of diamond studs in my ears for almost 3 years. :D

My mother is always nagging me when I visit because I don't put on jewellry unless I am in an especially happy mood. I did go through a phase last summer of wearing a bracelet, necklaces and earrings, but gone right off it all again. I just cannot be bothered, even though I like pretty things.

I don't really mind jewelry, but I do take all my jewelry off as soon as I get home. What I really hate is having my hair in my face. My hair is pretty long, and I like to keep it tied back.

my friend gets me jewelry gifts, I dislike how they feel but another girl (also with Sensory problems) says it feels better when you wear them over long sleeves :D so I wear the jewelery friends give me yes, sometimes one bracelt or one necklace but it is very annoying if I don't wear it a certain way. Ears are unpirced.

I had a cross necklace, but since I'm not religious I don't wear it anymore.

Ah yes, that reminds me, I do wear a pentagram, and that just stays on all the time...never take it off.

All I have is a silver chain around my neck. I recently got that One Ring and put it on the chain similarly to Frodo. Yeah, I'll get to to Mt. Doom, don't worry! I'm just, taking a break...

I like jewelry but I do take it off at home, especially when I am sitting in my rocking chair. I don't like necklaces to keep hitting my chest when I rock.

I do wear jewelry, but certainly not excessively. At the lab, I strictly cannot have metal in the metals lab. This means not paper clips, metal binders on notebooks, etc. But, I do wear 2 rings, usually. This is totally fine, I am never without latex gloves. Incidentally, I love latex gloves - they feel good. Anyway, I wear earrings, but not usually necklaces. I have a medic alert bracelet on, stating I am autistic, a necessity, which is covered by my left latex glove and my lab sleeve. I rarely buy jewelry. I like my long, ornate, dangley earrings though! I have longish hair - just past my shoulders. This doesn't bother me.

See? That's what I mean! All the NT's I know I have jewelry collections, and pair them with their clothes, but I'm happy with the same stud earrings that have not left my lobes for years and one little (romantic) ring. That's it. Changing jewelry? Why bother?

I have four ear piercings. I wear the same earrings almost all the time. I usually wear two silver ball studs and two gold crosses, but the crosses were too tight and my ears started to heal around the clutches. Right now I'm wearing four silver balls until I can figure out my crosses. On rare ocassions I wear two hoops and two Cloud Strife wolf earrings.

I also wear a necklace with a guardian angel pendant on it that my aunt gave me.

Other than that, I don't like jewelry that touches my skin. I can't even wear a wrist watch. I actually carry a silver pocket watch instead.

Is it that we don't LIKE change - or we just are so sensitive to change that it's difficult? (Another topic maybe) Anyway, new avatar, new location, new title - everything's new. Aack - runs off screaming (LOL)

And of course don't like change in jewelry either :D
