I thought about posting this in the media representation, but not sure it belonged there. Then I thought about the movie section, but not sure it belonged there either.

I am sure most of you have heard of this documentary on Netflix. While we may all have different views on wether someone is guilty or not, Brendan's case broke my heart. I could see that he indeed had either some autistic issues or sensory issues and was incredibly mistreated and taken advantage of by the ableist out there. Please, take the time to watch and join groups to help this kid who was in special ed, but we have no further information on. Maybe seeing how he acts will allow you to recognize a bit of yourself in him to help him. Thank you.

You don't want my thoughts on this matter nor do I wish real contextual understanding of such matters on any of you. I'm just here to say this lowers us.

Just watched the series. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Unfortunately that kind of thing happens incredibly frequently (police planting evidence, etc) so I'm surprised people are so shocked by this. By the way, that kid was just really slow and mentally challenged, not autistic.

Most mass-murderers have been socially-adept NTs. Many of them were charming, even charismatic individuals.

Do we equate NTs with murder?

We have to stop this crap about equating autism with murderers.

I understand the frustrations autistic people go through which might put a minute percentage over the edge.

The same minute percentage for NTs.

I remember this when it all went down, it was big news here when he got out of prison and big news when he murdered that woman. Having not watch the series I know that they found her car, burnt bone fragments, and teeth of Teresa Halbach on his property. Going to prison can make a sociopath, he might not of been that far off to begin with, this conspiracy that they're trying to frame him for her disappearance or that she's actually still alive is completely ridiculous.
