I'm a little apprehensive. I'm rewatching the entire series myself. But I'm afraid it's going to be bad.

Not really, as I wasn't that big a fan past the first two seasons.

Yes because the truth is still out there and Scully is an Aspie sex symbol, because the music theme is cool.

I wonder how they will handle aging and the post 9/11 world where the stuff that was wild conspiracy theories back in the '90's kind of actually happened. I wonder how this this show which started featuring the internet back in 1994 handle today's social media devices Internet.

Is there a chance that "conspiracy theorists" will be sexy again? The curmudgeons of the world will say "no," but, our propaganda beats theirs time after time.

They more then handled it they made it central to the plot. Fantastic to have the X-Files back in my life.

Sorry to tease, but maybe you will understand American angst with having to wait weeks or even months for BBC programs to "hop the pond." Hehe. Actually, I feel as bad for you guys as I do for Americans. I won't spoil last night's X-Files premier for you, but it was a great re-introduction episode.

Given that I've never really watched the original X-Files series, do I have to be familiar with it to get into the reboot?

You need to get on that! There are 9 seasons, you'd better get cracking! :P :alien:

While it would help, I think it's possible to still appreciate the new series.

There is a list of episodes which give a recap for the new season so you don't need to watch all 9 seasons.

I'll post it when I find it again!!
