I've got a chicken breast marinating in extra virgin olive oil, chilli flakes, kosher salt, black pepper, lemon zest and juice, parsley and cilantro. I'll be grilling it later and eating some oven fries and boiled vegetables with it.

Sounds good.

I went to the local Chinese restaurant.

    I had:
  • Wonton soup;
  • Chicken and black bean sauce;
  • Fried rice;
It was yummy

I wanted to get some ham and chicken rolls but I was on my own and it would have been to much!

Have you ever been to a restaurant on your own?

One of my favorite things to make for myself at home is:

sandwich:

Fresh cut, thick sliced crusty bread with whole egg mayo on top and bottom
Roast turkey
Lettuce
tomato
red onion
salt & pepper

I've gone mad over them

It was. :) Your sandwich sounds it too. I've never had one of those because nobody sells them/gives recipes for them in England.

A few times. I feel embarrassed. Buffet restaurants are the ones I feel least shy about going in alone.

The mayo sandwich sounds good. Keep eating the mayo - it's a superfood!

I make a salad using mayo. I fry a bit of bacon, chop it up, then mix with lettuce, a few pine nuts toasted in a dry pan for 2 minutes and really thin slices of cheese.

That's different! Sounds like something from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I wouldn't mind trying that.

Restaurants are too expensive for me.
5 bucks for a soup? Buzz off! (Just noticed: Involuntary fly in soup joke reference... lol)

A homemade turkey burrito for lunch. I've been snacking on some dark chocolate covered almonds this afternoon, yum.

I'm currently on a diet, so I'm eating the exact same food for breakfast & lunch every day.

For breakfast I have two Weetbix, a cup of milk and a banana.

For lunch I have fresh chicken in a sandwich with lettuce & thin slices of tasty cheese.

For dinner, I have whatever it is the parents cook. Last night was a beef & veggie mix with a few peanuts & pieces of potato.

4kg down sofar! Getting into an eating routine of eating the same food every day is the only way I've ever succeeded in losing weight in the past, in 2013 I managed to drop 20kg, but sadly I put it back on since then. I have no doubts that I'll pass that mark this time.

Love your avatar. It almost looks like the Great Nebula in Orion.

I'm soon going to BBQ 2 chicken maryland pieces marinated in peri-peri sauce and 2 o'naturale! Looking forward to that. Yummy! :D

Breakfast was a frittata with zucchini, peppers, mushrooms, onions, jarlsberg and gouda cheese, with 3 eggs, sage, marjoram and savory.

Lunch was a grilled cheese made with gluten free bread

Supper is roast beef, potatoes and salad, made carrot muffins and individual cheesecakes for dessert
