Computer programmer, Software developer or IT technician
All of which need a degree, which I don't have so that pretty much makes me useless to every employer as I have no other skills to give, I can be social and stuff but not enough to hold a job (for more than a week). IT technician on the other hand has mostly been outsourced to other countries which would be virtually impossible to commute.
I tried my hand in Data Entry alongside Graphic Design for a month as work experience, the software packages they used were too complex to understand, like the windows 95 format is used - probably due to funding. Suffice to say it was not for me, too much office politics, social cohesion, I had to greet everyone even if I wasn't working with them and they were 10 desks away and everything was open plan.
So even in an office environment to balance out the social side of business, instead of dealing with the public you have to deal with the internal customers like your boss, co-workers and random meetings and seminars where you would occasionally be in groups of 5-6 people to do some ice-breaking activities / awareness of current events, I even had a seminar about mental health consisting of the whole office building to raise awareness of mental health. At the time I was dealing with much older people who had been working there for at least 20 years or so, I didn't disclose my mental illness, though I think they would be the sort of people who would be understanding of it if I did. I think its the younger generation who won't be as lenient about it, or the people who don't understand it or are ignorant about it.
I still need to research jobs that I can do in the meantime and look for an ideal job once I have secured a paid role.
