Probably something worse than going 33 years without a girlfriend is your first relationship ending after four month and you having to start the whole process again.

While, I've probably grown a bit from my relationship experience, I really hate how difficult it is for someone with Asperger's to find a new romantic partner. I realized this first hand going on a date with someone I met online and she deciding not to pursue anything because "I didn't seem interested."

It just really sucks.
