I never really cared for the sharp buzzing of the clippers, especially around my ears.

I hated them as a kid. One time my mom took me to get it cut & I had a bad meltdown so we went home. When I got home I decided to try cutting it myself. It looked horrible & I hid in the closet & the doorknob got stuck. The door had to be taken off the hinges to get me out. My head then got shaved with an electric razor which I hated because of the noise & vibrations. The electric razors don't bother me too much nowadays thou & I don't really mind getting my hair cut nowadays.
