Has anyone ever color their hair? I'm talking about coloring your hair to have a new look. I'm thinking of coloring my hair.

Ever since I was in my teens.

Me and my Ma still compare hair colors.

I'd recommend highlighting by a professional. It's expensive, but worth it if you're not fighting grey's.

my bleached patch is the closest thing i have to having my hair colored.

I used to color my hair all the time in high school. I haven't very often since then. My hair is thick and doesn't seem to absorb color very well.
What color are you thinking of coloring it?

I first dyed my hair when I was 11 or 12; you used to be able to buy this temporary dye that came in a can of hair mousse type stuff.

I haven't dyed my hair since last April though. I had a haircut last month, my first in over a year, and I'm quite liking my natural dark brown right now!

I have a problem finding the right dye - I can only use a certain brand, but they've changed all their colours, so what used to work for dark brown hair no longer does. It's irritating to say the least.

Maybe just red highlights, I think I will keep my dark brown hair.

I like to dye my hair all sorts of colours. It's blue right now. I'm planning on making it a lighter blue soon. Unless you meant natural-looking colours.

I used to colour my hair blue and green. I've stopped doing that 7 years ago in the fall before I turned 35.

One summer, I decided to go blonde with Sun-In. Since I was living near a nude beach at the time, I decided to go blonde all over. It turned my hair more orange than blonde.

The experiment was never repeated.

I had black hair when I was younger, but now my hair has more of a dark brown tone to it. I have never been allowed to dye my hair a different color, so having dark brown hair is the closest I'll get to changing my hair color.

The centre of my hair, maybe a little wider band than is coloured in my avatar, is currently very bright blue.

I had it done before a huge party night last weekend and I have another party to go to this weekend so long as I beat this bit of a cold. I might do it a different colour scheme later this Summer.

was it similar to that cheapo stuff they sell in halloween stores around those times?

i still have a can of that, metallic white, i have never let it touch my hair but it works well when i want to vandalize my wall with smiley faces.

I have dyed it quite a bit in the past but not recently as I was too focused on other things to think much about what I looked like to be honest lol. I once dyed it red and then blue a few weeks after, it turned into this peculiar purple mixture then faded to a deep pink but the tips were still kinda blue and the top red, it was quite the circus but I really liked it.
