I've noticed that sometimes when my mother clears her throat real loudly, and forcefuly, that I will get painful painful muscle spasms in my chest area. It feels like someone is punching me from within. I think that it may be due to sensorary overload, because I sometimes experience coprolalia when she does it as well.

I get chest pains quite a lot. I don't know if it's to do with sensory overload or not though, I always panic and think I'm dying. Sometimes my heart beats funny as well and when I breathe in deeply I can't do it properly. So maybe it is a similar thing, or maybe I'm dying of something. I don't know. I'll think about whether it's a sensory thing next time it happens. I think with me it's mainly related to anxiety though.

I get chest pains all the time. Always think I'm dying. I've been to the ER a number of times and they always say it's nothing. I don't have a whole lot of faith in doctors though...

I've recently been getting very painful chest pains. I've tried three medications so far and the pains still haven't gone away, in fact they've got worse. Sometimes I feel as though I need to go to the hospital otherwise I'm going to die. I'm not sure what's causing these pains, but I think it's probably just acid reflux, not sensory overload.

Could be a heart problem.
What do you think?

I am sensitive to certain sounds too.
Synesthesia.
Could be this.

Synesthesia, i have it. One of the benefits of being autistic. Would not trade it for a million dollars.
Could be this.

edit: sorry for double post. Dunno, what happened there.

See a doctor if you are getting regular chest pains.
Seriously.
