I'm a dx'd aspie in New England. After reading a lot of introductions, I hesitated to introduce myself for a while. Yes, I have a lot of the same problems everyone else seems to have, but despite those problems, I wouldn't trade being an aspie for anything. To me it's a wonderful gift. I have a doctorate in Anthropology, I ran my own IT business for a number of years, and I have an NT gf. Now I'm starting a new career doing something I've always wanted to do. I'd like to meet people, especially here in NE, who understand why at time I seem strange to so many NTs.
