This might be a topic a lot of people might relate to - being angry all the time. In particular, being angry while coming out of a depressive episode.

A few months ago my mood was very low and my antidepressants were doubled. Now the dose seems to be helping me function, but now I am just irritated a lot. I get anxious a lot as well, but the irritability worries me a lot more. I used to have really bad anger problems when I was younger and it feels like that anger is coming back. I'm just wondering if maybe it is time to change my meds or if this is just a normal part of coming out of depression.

My hypothesis is that while my brain is chemically much better I still have to train it to handle frustration and to overcome pessimism. Maybe the anger is like collateral damage after a hurricane and now that the worst part is over I just need to build up my reserve again. I dunno.

Is this common? I seem to do this a lot after one of these depressive episodes.
