I have an issue regarding a modding...

For some reason when I posted a thread on the gaming board letting users know that Microsoft officially cut the price of the Xbox One.
We have plenty of threads over the past years of topics being posted letting users know of price drops, sales, etc...

Today I noticed a mod modded it and the thread title.

The original title was Xbox One Price Drop Official | U.S. Price/Euro Price/UK Price

The original post listed the price drops on the main console and the bundles with the link to Microsoft's Xbox site.

The message I was left with was this.

I fail to see the issues, since again we have similar threads to it for other hardware and games.
I mean all of the price drop and sales thread are always riddled with people lashing out negatively toward the given company, game, source, price etc...

This is the 3rd time in a month that I've had trouble with posting of any sort on the gaming board due to someone having an axe to grind with me.

This time I didn't get a PM and direct reason for it from the mod.

You are welcome to report other instances of breach of this rule, and those posts will be addressed too. We can't view every post on WP, that's impossible.

You miss the point...

It's never been a problem on the gaming board to post threads about prices, price drops, sales etc...

I fail to see how my thread this time around was punished.
I and others have posted these kinds of thread without issues for a few years now.

It's also never been an issue on the computer board either to post prices, price drops, sales, etc... when it comes to software and hardware by posting in the press release and link to the manufacturer's site.


This was the first time it ever happened.

If you still think I misapplied the rules, your option is to complain to Alex. Mods apply the rules, not make them.
