Anyone here fascinated with sprinkler systems, irrigation or fire sprinklers?

I've been fascinated with sprinklers from a very early age. When I was between the ages 3 and 5, I used to run through any sprinkler that I'd happen to see.

I get enraptured by most things carrying, dropping, spewing or containing liquids, especially water though as it's the most recurrent and abundant thing, I wish there were a sprinkler lava lamp gloop combo.

I've always wondered why houses do not have sprinkler systems in them mandated by law just like smoke detectors and CO alarms. There would be next to no deaths from house fires if everyone had sprinkler systems. Who cares if your furniture gets wet, it's better than it burning to the ground along with you. Makes no sense.
