When lingering annoyances, say the freeway or at work where I get pissed off it stays with me for days and I hate that I can't let it go :skull:
How can I let go faster and stop waiting days for it to dissipate?

If you're getting overloaded by day to day life, perhaps you should visit a nearby forest or park. Sometimes, spending some time in a peaceful place can do wonders for frustration. You could even go to a lake.

Maybe I wasn't clear, emotionally I have a long term habit of holding on to things, my wife is neurotypical and hates hiking in the woods but can let go almost within minutes of troubling occurrences
Thanks

This may sound off the wall but I recommend getting some exercise. A simple 30-40 minute walk will do. Not only does it get you away from the stressor(s), it revs up all your bodily systems helping you to think more clearly. Its even helped me to see where people are coming from, what their mind set had to have been for them to act as they did.

It helps me to focus on the feeling and the sensation it creates, rather than the thoughts. Obsessive thoughts love coming back, as I have OCD. Still, the more I bring myself into the present moment and breathe with the sensations, the more I can let go. It's a little easier to let go when I'm fully acknowledging how my emotions feel, rather than fighting them, which is my natural instinct.

I understood what you were saying. What I mean is that embracing nature can help you let go of negative emotions, so that they don't keep lingering in your mind and frustrating you.

That's how things are, on the freeway, or at work. It's always going to seem like that.

You would have to make alternate arrangements.

Lucky duck; I think Hawaii is probably off my bucket list, not because achieved, but because unachievable. Have a good time, OP.
