Not counting those black & white movie serials and the STV animated movies Superman has appeared in 8 movies. 6 of those movies were solo Superman movies whereas one of them is half a Superman movie and 1 of them is not a Superman Movie but has Superman in it. Though my opinions may change overtime in future viewings this is how I would rank Superman's Appearences in film. Keep in mind I'm ranking the movies based on his appearances not by the movies qualities as both would be different.

4) Superman Returns
5) The Lego Movie
6) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
7) Superman II
8 ) Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
