(A new Idea I had, we are all citizens of an autistic country.)

And so the tale goes after months of sailing a tribe filled with abnormalities has reached a previously uncharted Island in the pacific ocean. This land of is now home to a civilization of autistic people with ways different from the rest of mankind in all ways imaginable. This is the kingdom of Autisticland, and everyone here on this forum is a citizen of it and how it plays out depends on our ability to work together and put aside differences and cooperate. Our new civilization is small but we have the potential to become a great superpower. Its fate of course rests in the palm of the actions of forum members.

Where are the pioneers for this new civilization so I believe it is up to us to nominate a king or queen for that matter.

Edit: I am the narrator of this thread, so I summarize the events that have happened on this thread and should two people in this nation fight, I decide the results based on a number of factors.

Not so fast mate. The Kingdom of Autisticland happens to advanced in science and medical matters. If anyone is going to find a cure to make the people "Normal" its going to be them.

Given the majority of conversations I've had with other autistics, I'd be shocked if even doing research into that wasn't promptly banned. So yeah, I'm dead serious; if I was stuck in a society like this I would probably kill myself.

That's something, I guess. I'd still have to get along with other aspies, which is a tall order.

I mean, I could also wait for the whole thing to come crashing down. I would consider that an inevitability; good governance requires skills and abilities autistic people are impaired in.

Well that is a big generalization. I don't think most neurotypicals are good at governing either but the thing is you only need around 2% or 1% for that matter to get the job done.

The very symptoms that allow someone to be diagnosed with ASD read like a list of things you don't want to see in good rulers.
