Where did you meet your current/last partner?

Where to look and where not to look, that is the question.

I met my last girlfriend at work. After we broke up, I remembered why I had a rule against dating people from work.

I met my current boyfriend through a friend I made through work. That was nearly a year ago and we have now been together just over 9 months.

online (several years ago). I really can't imagine ever meeting someone any other way.

We met through sheer chance at the emergency room. One of my family members was having a heart attack scare and I had to drive them to the hospital, and he was there with a head injury. We both met each other outside the hospital on the sidewalk. It was so weird, and definitely not something I expect to happen again.

My last relationship was with a next-door neighbor. One thing led to another, it was fun for a while, then we drifted apart.

I know this sounds random, but I met my partner on facebook...mer.

I first saw mine passed out on my
couch; she was homeless, and my
housemates had offered to let her
sleep in their closet.

I immediately thought what a cute thing
she was, but put her more or less out of
my mind (it appeared, at the time, that
she was with someone). I was getting ready
to go out for a beer, and she came to my
room, because I was listening to music
that she liked (Violent Femmes - hey I
spelled it right). I invited her along, and
since she was underaged, we went to a
bar where ID was never checked, along
with one of her friends (my housemate).

Whilst there, she began sucking on my
fingers, so we fell into bed - where I almost
blew it by telling her that she was too hot
for me to not want sex. I panicked when I
discovered that not only was she not of age,
but still in HS.

The next day, I didn't even remember
her name - another panic. We spent a
good 12 years together though. Serendipity
is the best way.

I have no idea if she's even alive anymore
though. I miss the heck out of her.

I've met my three ex-boyfriends online.

I met my current partner online, on another forum/chat room, I fell for her pretty quickly as I had feelings for her for a long time (after seeing her photo on the forum where she posted as well as I did), though had been too shy to speak to her for two years until someone got us talking to one another and now we are a happy couple, albeit it's a long distance relationship, she is my sweetheart **daydreams**

An old boyfriend told me he met the perfect man for me and set us up. He even went along on the first three dates because he knew I was terrible dater and had a habit of bolting within five minutes. That was about 27 years ago and I married that "perfect" man. I guess the moral of that story is to stay friends with your exes.

well... i dont know if it constitutes as dating... but we're friends with awkward inclinations at times.......

and i met him in my neuroscience lab (so school/work i guess).... he has a family memeber with AS and studies autism (well biological aspects of it) and has been a bottomless source of support for me in my last yr of self-revelation.
