War is bad. War is bad. And people shouldn't be forced to fight in wars.

Hear hear!

I thought we'dve evolved beyond murder to solve disputes. Don't get me wrong, I believe terrorists should be brought to justice, but not at the expense of thousands and thousands of lives.

I agree. Why do world leaders always have money for war, but any never for helping poor and homeless people?

I wonder that too.

Sometimes the best cure for war, is joining the fray. Just look at Kosovo.

right now the united states military only takes volunteers. no drafts.

likewise, (if i ain't mistaken) autism spectrum is a permanent disqualification.

you could, however, point out that war is bad for civilians too. civilian casualty. government wastes too much money on military. not enough money for anything else. having family and friends go off and join the military.

I hate the human race and I'm ashamed to be a member of it. WW3 will surely soon be upon us and I have nothing to look forward to but an agonizing slow death. Why? WHY?!? I hate the world. I hate myself. My whole life is a waste. There is no god. I have a knife on my desk right now so I can slash my wrists when it happens. I'm alone. I can't talk to anyone. They are idiots who will just lock me up and drug me.

Ever heard of something called nationalism comrade? Maybe Imperialism? Those should be the cause of your disdain, and unfortunately I don't see how to stop them.

In the United States, people who are opposed to all wars could be excused from combat by claiming "conscientious objector status".

"The War on Terror" - It doesn't really make total sense. The US and other like countries went into the middle east, shook up the political leadership leading to some people getting unhappy and terrorism beginning (as a very simplified set of events). The solution? The US and other like countries go into the middle east, shake up the political leadership then withdraw again.

Each person, terrorist or not, that is killed in the Middle East will have a wife, parents, children, siblings, friends, and killing them will just make those other people hate whoever went in and killed that person, they'll stand up against this injustice which has hit them and become a terrorist and fight back. Just killing and bombing isn't the solution.
