I'm so frustrated, so I should be size 42, but I've gained a lot of weight and so am size 46-48. Problem is shorts in those size have too long crotches. Like 1 1/2 too long so I have to have up 2 inches above my belly button and half way to my chest to fit.

What do I do? I planning to go to gym but need shorts that fit so I don't chaff or look bad. The pants in same size and brand fit fine, but for some reason all the shorts seem to be for 7'+ guys with 48" waist :(
I'm only 6'3"

I can't get the waist shortened cause it has belt loops that I need. Also I haven't bought pants in while, I hope they didn't change those too :s.

How about hitching the shorts up and wearing T-shirt over? Everybody looks awful when they go back to the gym - that's why they're going. Give it a month - in the meantime buy cheap and work hard. :)
(Unlike me - congrats on your guts)
