Hi everyone, do any of you who live in the UK have assistance dogs for your autism. I have been looking towards getting an assistance dog for a long time. I have medical conditions and physical issues due to dyspraxia, however, I am not 'disabled enough' to require a service dog for any of these. I am aware that the majority of the big UK assistance dog charities only help with autistic children but I know there are some adults out there who have autism assistance dogs. My parents are skeptical on the grounds that they don't want any issues with a puppy learning bad behavior from our pet dog who has OCD, therefore they would be easier to persuade if there isn't also the worry of having to raise thousands of pounds.
