i knew somebody was going to tell me that. I often say such things as an indication that i know i made a mistake and i'm trying to appear humble. I often don't actually believe it. Which is important. I will often disparage myself, but please know it is usually sarcastic and joking. I have a very healthy self-esteem, but i really hate appearing arrogant.

When you call yourself "idiot" it does not make you look humble. Humbleness is part of body language imho. Your actions of calling yourself a idiot makes you look insecure and unconfident. Just trying to help.
