He certainly lived a long life, but he was sick for a good portion of his later years. One year, during his Labor Day telethon (I can't remember what year), he was seriously ill and in a wheelchair. I used to watch his telethons regularly when I was younger, but didn't watch for a long stretch of time.

RIP, Jerry Lewis.
