I would have to say Megaman and Mario.

Pretty much every incarnation of Cid except from final fnatasy VIII. Auron from X, Yuna from X-2 though I couldn't stand her in X, her speech at the end of X-2 was really good. Kimarhi, Mister Balthier from 12, Barrett and Vincent from VII, Quistis from VIII. Freya and Quina from IX. Delita from Final fantasy tactics.

Voldo and Roc from Soulblade, also Taki for different reasons . Ryu/Feilong from Street fighter, M. Bison from street fighter two series only. King/Armor king from tekken series. Illidain from warcraft 3.

I didn't like FF 12 nearly as well as FF6-10 (and as far as I'm concerned the series is over with the departure of it's executive producer)...

but I have to admit Balthier really was a great character. Very interesting by any standards, and just awesome to see in a game.

I stopped playing the crappy FFXII pretty early. The only thing tempting me to continue is Balthier.

I actually thought it was above average for an RPG, just not anywhere near as good as Sakaguchi's (misspelled) real Final Fantasy games.

I disliked FFXII mostly because I wanted to crawl out of my skin every time I saw Vaan. I really loathe that guy.
