anyone feel/have been the last choice?

like the girl/guy has go no one better to see

example: the person is moving flat. Everything is packed up. They have nothing to eat, their friends live else ware. They just want to go to get a break to eat but they don't want to eat on their own.

yeah, and then if some one else turns up they like better they just go off with them and leave you.

Screw 'em. If I'm their last choice, they're mine, too.

That what I think. I abandoned somebody who did this to me. She was happy to do things with me when it suited her, but in reality didn't want to be associated with me.

Thing is I feel it happening again. I'm not sure I can always blame the other person. Maybe part of it is me.

I just avoid people like that now because they are clearly not true friends.

yeh it is pretty bad. I think there is different gradations of it. It think sometimes they may get the impression I'm not interested.

I don't need to see people all the time. That is not the issue. It is when they explicitly tell you they have nothing better to do. That hurts.

Yup and I hate that s**t. Much better to not go out with them.

Better to find some weird girl who has a sweet heart and chose her. The other one is going to dump you soon enough anyway.

If I knew people like this I wouldn't even bother with them as friends, much less get to know them on a romantic level.

Being alone isn't that bad compared to being treated like that.

I've had that happen to me only a couple of times. This is because people only get to treat me like that once before I banish them from my life entirely.
