We all say that we should be careful with what we directly say, but we should also be careful with what we imply. I understand that some of us have a hard time implying the same thing that we say, but it happens. Examples of this are when you are giving an analogy and someone takes you literally, you are telling a joke but it's looked at tragically, or when you are serious and it is seen as humorous, and so on and so forth. I can even come off as unhelpful when this post's implication is to help.

So just remember that, be careful with what you imply as much as what you directly say. A lot of what our presidents say gets mixed and matched with implications with what they directly say on the news, so you aren't alone.
