Is this a difficult thing to know as an aspie?

It might be difficult for an Aspie/Autistic. Especially if a person doesn't have much of a sex drive. Being "in love" involves sexual lust (at least to me)---but it's much more than that.

I feel, if I want to spend lots of time with that person, and I'm sexually turned on by her, that I'm probably "in love." If I want to have kids with her. If I want to be a good father to the kids. If I'm willing to make the necessary sacrifices.

I must say that, at various times, I have not been willing to make the sacrifices. I'm still like that to a certain extent.

There have been times when I've "thought" that I've been love---but it was only "lust."
