AMERICANS are furious at Donald Trump after his foul-mouthed attack on immigrants from “s***hole” countries in a White House meeting.

The New York Daily News published a brutal front page with the headline, “S*** for brains” above a cartoon image of a poo emoji with the President’s features. It posted the page on Twitter with the caption: “@realdonaldtrump takes a dump on the American dream.”

Mr Trump reportedly blew up during an Oval Office meeting on immigration, asking, “Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” in reference to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations. He (Trump) suggested the United States should instead encourage immigrants from countries such as Norway, whose prime minister he met this week.

In Trump's mind some people are better than others (no guesses for which color he expresses a preference for). CNN’s Anderson Cooper said ... "The sentiment the President expressed today is a racist sentiment.”

Do I have to spell it out...Trump just called any American citizen who is from El Salvador, Haiti or Africa a "s**t" and less worthy of being American than a blonde Norwegian

Congratulations America you have elected an openly racist president who carries the same racist values as his KKK father

Ill state the obvious: s**t doesnt have holes. Now that ive said that, I know what he said isnt what most people want to hear from our president but i know lost my temper a time or two (yes thats sarcasm, ive lost it way more than that) and said some things that are considered just as bad. I usually dont hold anyone to a higher standard than I do for myself. I know people from other countries say as bad or worse things about us, and frankly, im tired of hearing about every little thing our president says as if its a surprise or it proves a particular point. Neurotypicals get so emotional about stuff that doesnt make any sense. Welcome to the newest reality tv show: mainstream news.
I dont see what all the fuss is about, after all he is exercising free speech, but maybe thats why Im on the spectrum.

I'm speaking as a past medical professional.

I was a nurse for 30 years. Haitian and African immigrants have proved valuable as nurses' aides in hospitals and nursing homes. Some even went on to become nurses and doctors later on. They are, indeed, valuable contributions to American society. Even some of my favorite restaurants are Ethiopian, Egyptian, Somali and Haitian.

To be honest, I try not to get morally outraged when Trump says stuff like this. Sometimes I laugh, but I try not to get outraged. At this point, moral outrage won't convince Trump's supporters. They have already demonstrated that the entire concept of right and wrong is a joke to them.

From now on, I'm only going to get outraged when Trump puts human lives in danger. I might laugh at what he says, but I'm not going to waste emotional energy being outraged by it.

Sorry cyberdad, i have to disagree. you're statement is inaccurrate and is spinning what was actually said. Bullies do this to intimidate and twist the truth to turn the blame against their victims. You're jumping to conclusions and thinking with your emotions in my opinion. Trump simply got angry with people and was thinking with his emotions, you two seem to have something in common. Im sorry the president let you down today, but i get the feeling you're looking for a reason to get upset. You probably think poorly of me for disagreeing with you, but ive come to expect that from neurotyoicals.

Yes but in letting his emotions get the better - he spoke what he truly "believes"

The funny thing for me is that he thinks Norwegians would want to go to America. Norway has free universal health care and free Universities. Why would they want to leave that and move to a country that doesn't. It would be a step down for them.

Mr. R's probably sleeping, so I'll stand in - it's no big deal. What's wrong with a little exercising of free speech? Afterall, De Niro went nuts exercising his free speech rights about what he really thinks about our current President of the United States.....

I don't believe Trump said something he normally wouldn't have because he was angry. No, he let his mask slip, and revealed something of who he really is. And while a great many Americans are outraged over this show of racism on Trump's part, his die hard supporters are going to throw their support even more so behind him, as he's simply saying what they believe.

A whole bunch of people will condemn him saying this time he went really too far and in a day or two everybody will go back to their agendas and making money in the booming stock market then nothing will happen then he will say something else. After two and a half years this is utterly predictable. Rinse, Wash, and Repeat. What disincentives are there for him to stop?

Maybe 60 percent of Americans are outraged, the rest of the country is applauding.

Of course he has the right to say it. That does not mean he should.

It's the Left that makes it OK. The Left believes they can say whatever the hell they want ever since Obama was elected - calling the Right Nazis, bigots and racists and then proceed to call our current President names, using foul language and showing complete disrespect for the office of the President. But I guess that's just fine as long as the Left acts in that fashion.

You know why this is no big deal? Because the Right is damn tired of the Left getting away with crap. I'm so sick to my stomach of listening to A-holes like De Niro go off on our President and the Left just laughs and applauds. You know what? I'm laughing and applauding now at everything that Trump says that the media and the Left go nuts over - what Mr. R. calls butt-hurt. I hope Trump keeps talking like this - I'll make sure to vote for him again just for that reason. The Left is just jealous of Trumps "triumphs".

People who don't want to be called Nazis, bigots, and racists shouldn't act like they are.
John McCain, a Republican, is clearly not a racist, but a Republican like Steven Miller clearly is (funny, considering that the rest of the Alt Right would string him up for being Jewish).
As there have been people on the right who had attacked Obama as a communist and radical Muslim (which he clearly isn't), I think what's good for the goose is good for the gander in regard to the world's greatest living actor, Robert De Niro, criticizing Trump.
By the way, when your ancestors had come to America long ago, very likely someone already here described where your people were from as a $hithole, and had wanted to keep them out.

i find it funny that he thinks people from norway would want to come here, with the same enthusiasm that people from impoverished countries do.
