@ F - Yes it was better than collect+, although, collect+ is a lot closer being just around the corner.

@ K - Yeah and I make the most of it when I spot a really good bargain.

I got over 20 tins of tuna because they were so cheap several weeks ago.

How are you doing Mr Kraftie?

Cool , you just have to save your parcels for shopping day to streamline your chores :)

I usually shop online for my main shop - morrisons is usually a treat for me and I like their m savers mayo at only 41p.

I should have been in bed over an hour ago for my nap - I guess I will forfeit my tea and have it later as I need sleep more. Can't remember the last time I managed to get through a whole day without a sleep.

I can't remember the last time I managed to get through a whole day without a sleep and not suffer as a consequence.

After 4 years of getting used to Morrison's food I have now changed to Tesco's due to geographical availability , it's a bit of a mind f**k for me to plan different meals

Yeah, I am not a big fan of changes like that.

I'm sorry but I have to say night night again.

I've knackered myself out.

My parcel got to its destination in less than 24 hours. (21 to be precise)

I cannot fault this way of sending parcels.

Now I need to ring mum to make sure it was all in one piece.

Way to go parcel 2 go ! Yay!

I'm glad the parcel got there so quickly.

My wife's nephew had one sent to the wrong address. They sent it to his BILLING address, rather than OUR address.

Make sure UPS or whatever knows the distinction between the BILLING and the SHIPPING address.

The parcel arrived at the correct address.

I will use inpost again if they are the cheapest.

I know it did---you would hope that it did

That situation I described rarely happens----it was some sort of clerical error.

My nearest (and best) supermarket is Iceland. It's also really cheap.
I don't know if Iceland is retro cos it's retro or specifically retro to me but it feels like going back to the 90s.

I'm an American---but I know Sainsbury's pretty well because my wife's son lives in southeast London.

I find Sainsbury's to be like a suburban supermarket back in the 1970s.

Sainsbury's is regarded as one of the 'classier' supermarkets in the UK. A little below Waitrose and Marks & Spencer, but above Tesco and Asda, and well above the so called 'Discounters' Aldi and Lidl. Sainsbury's undoubtedly provides a pleasant shopping environment, but there's no way it can justify the premium prices it charges, IMO. The value available at Aldi is simply unbeatable, if one is not concerned about snobbery and can deal with some reduction in choice of goods (though not in quality).

I've always thought of Morrison's as being a very similar shopping experience to Sainsbury's, but it seems to be perceived as somewhat inferior, perhaps because of its Northern roots.

I agree , you seem to get a better class of clientele in Sainsburys ( at least they they think they are  )

I used to be a snob about supermarkets. Now I'm a reverse snob about it.
Cos if you're on ESA and PIP and not a middle class income, posh supermarkets are a waste of money. Esp if you can't cook.
Mum's going to teach me to cook in summer but for now I'm on ready meals and eating out and eating at hers.
