mauna kea is the largest mountain and its status as such is not dependent on whether there are any puny humans around to verify it.

The Brits discovered that Everest was the tallest mountain in like the 1850's when they were mapping India from aiming surveying instruments at the mountain from afar. Don't know what was considered the hightest before that. My guess is that it was some mountain in the Andes.

Suggested rule for any trivia quiz: you're on your honor to give answers off the top of your head. You cant go to Wiki or whatever. Treat this like an old fashioned face-to-face conversation (and you don't have your devices to online).

If after you give your answer you need to bicker about it then you can go to online sources.

Very good try and thank you. However the answer is Mount Everest which is 8,848 m (29,029 ft)
Before it was discovered it was just the same as when it was discovered.
Mauna Kea (/ˌmɔːnə ˈkeɪ.ə/ or /ˌmaʊnə ˈkeɪ.ə/, Hawaiian: [ˈmɐwnə ˈkɛjə]), is a dormant volcano on the island of Hawaii. Standing 4,207 m (13,802 ft) above sea level, its peak is the highest point in the state of Hawaii.

I am sure you mean well, but I don't mind if they use the internet to come to the correct answer.

I believe it is technically the skin, however, if you literally mean inside the human body then I'd have to go with the intestines.

What is the height difference in Mt. Everest before the Nepal earthquake vs. after.

You are correct, it is the skin.
Before and after the Nepal earthquake Mount Everest was/is the same height.

What EXTREMELY famous actress wanted so badly to play Cleopatra in the 1964 blockbuster movie that she paid a very expensive photographer to do a series of shots of her in Egyptian make up and costume?

Of course, Elizabeth Taylor got the part, for the first-ever million dollar salary for an actress.

One of the most admired and talented actors of the 1920’s, Lon Chaney Sr, is buried in a famous, beautiful old cemetery in Los Angeles beside his wife. What is engraved on their tombstones?
