This is my riddle:

13)You are talking to a boy. You ask him a question. He responds with a number. Later on in the same day, you ask him the same question and get a number one higher than the last time. What is going on here?

ALT VERSION: You are talking to a boy. You ask him a question. He responds with a number, "10" Later on in the same day, you ask him the same question and get a number one higher than the last time, "11". What is going on here?

1)What did you ask him?
2)Why did the answer change i.e. what day is it to him?
