Why not?
Why would Russian officials make a threat they didn't intend to follow through on? (retaliating) These guys aren't Trump.. they're actual, real, strongmen.
Because Putin and the other oligarchs have too much invested in the Middle East and America.
Apparently Putin's own fortune is in excess of $200B, so what would he give a s**t about financial interests in the Middle East or America?
At these guys' level of financial worth, I don't think it's about money anymore.. it's about power. So, if they want to shoot their guns, they will.
Our bombs will reach them - devastating their country - and so I don't expect a Russian response to this.
Oh, right.. because Russia doesn't have bombs that could reach your country, or any other.. Oh wait, yes they do.
But are they seriously going to use them? Of course only if that dumbf*ck, orange were to... ulp!
Thing is, that orange pos has painted himself into a corner with all his scandals and now he's gonna "Wag The Dog," & start a war to distract from everything.
Also, not only is he dumb enough and guilty enough of everything to do this crap, he's old enough - 71 - old enough to know that if he's going to be a big tough war guy that he's gotta start bombing the s**t out of things now before he gets too old to make his sh***y mark on the world. Putin's not exactly young, either, and may think he's old enough to wanna go out in a blaze, too. But definitely Trump.

Well.. there wasn't an immediate retaliation. But that doesn't mean it isn't coming.
Headlines said Russia said they'd shoot down missiles and their sources.. some early headlines said most were intercepted and only one target was really damaged, some this morning say that all of them hit their targets. I wonder what the truth is? All of those headlines were on CNN btw.

You think all of these as*hole are sending ships & planes over there right now that they don't intend to use? It's all but a foregone conclusion that these lunatics are about to start a (much bigger) war.
I think this is right now a dick measuring contest. Perhaps Trump's lost his fear over that pee tape being released. That said, I think cooler heads in the military and intelligence agencies on both sides would intervene if things escalated too close to the big one being dropped.
See, you really have no idea what you are on about. That's CNN for you. Trump said only last week he wanted to pull out of Syria, but the Joint Chief of Staff's told him that wouldn't be productive. One rival called him a "wimp". Then the Western supported and funded Jaish Al Islam aka The Army of Islam (formerly The Sword of Islam) put this tape out of the people they killed which our leaders know about and use it as a pretext to bomb Syria. We have been funding Jihadists for years that chop Priest's heads off with a kitchen knife and eat soldier's hearts and livers. There are no "cooler heads". Our enemies are the ones with the cooler heads. If the US bombs Syria they won't be cool anymore.
Prior to Trump's election, several military men stated they would not carry out Trump's orders if illegal, or if it meant launching a nuclear strike. Whether they'll actually carry this promise out if it comes to that is anyone's guess.
REALLY! That's very odd given that they stopped Trump from pulling out of Syria, which is ILLEGAL them being there. They supported the ILLEGAL bombing of Syria last year. They support the ILLEGAL selling of weapons to Saudi Arabia as they blow up schools and hospitals in Yemen.
We are funding, arming and supporting a group called THE ARMY OF ISLAM in Syria, John McCain's organ eating, Priest decapitating friends. The whole thing about Trump being attacked is because he was talking about bombing these people in Syria and not the Syrian army. Fighting with Russia against these organ eating Jihadists. That wasn't acceptable for the establishment, they wanted to carry on supporting, funding and arming THE ARMY OF ISLAM. Formerly The Sword of Islam. Sounds like 'moderate rebels' eh, and that parasite Clinton was calling them and the whole media.
This is a disgrace.

It's illegal to have a foreign army in another country and to bomb another sovereign country without a UN mandate.
Did Putin have a UN mandate in Crimea?

Trump & Co. had multiple contacts with Russians. That's not fake. They're all greedy af and were simply looking to line their own pockets vs. actually destroy America. How is this difficult for you to understand & accept as reality?

Somehow I doubt JohnPowell is on Robert Mueller’s investigation team and thus can’t possibly know what evidence there is or isn’t of Trump & Co. colluding with Russia.
