Can we be drafted?

I've been wondering about this but I can't find a definitive answer: in the event of a great big war, can people with aspergers be drafted to serve in the armed forces? Some people say we can, but others say no. One guy said that they have rules against people who have had counseling from a psychologist for over six months or have had to take "medication commonly used for autism" for over six months but didn't mention if that mean EVER, or within X amount of months or years.

USA? I don't think so. Some posters here have complained that they can't get into the US Armed Forces anymore due to a rule change in recent years that bars anyone with an ASD diagnosis.



I'm in Canada. If these a**holes start WW3 there's a zero % chance I'm voluntarily going overseas to murder anyone. If someone rolls on us over here, though, and they're shooting at me on my home turf, that's when I'll pick up a gun and kill 'em all.

If there’s a major war, I’m sure they would draft people with Aspergers without any sort of mental illness.

They were drafting 45 year old men around 1944, during WW 2.

IMO world leaders will tell us we're going to war for nationalism, or for territory, or resources, or money etc etc but the real reason will be to kill as many people as possible in order to depopulate the earth since we have an unsustainable number of humans competing for resources and polluting the planet.. the human population has doubled over the last half century and now the elite ruling classes are going to reduce it by a lot more than that. Wait and see. They'll do it via war now because they don't want to deal with the masses of climate refugees that are going to be created over the next 50 years as the earth undergoes some major changes.

I kind of wonder if WW3 actually became a real possibility, would there be enough people to fight in it? With all the social media and such people across the world can talk to people from other countries and such, perhaps people are finding some common ground there....so would they be able to convince enough people they should be shooting each other? Maybe more people need to resist this stupid self destructive violence...you can't have a war without people to fight in it.

I hear there was a silence held in Israel for all the dead holocaust victims...yet does a moment of silence really honor their deaths? I mean while there is video footage of Israeli soldiers picking of civilian protesters with gunfire, people worried we are on the verge of WW3, denying refugees entry into the U.S and some other western countries and then wanting to 'bomb' syria in revenge for syrian civilains being killed which will result in more civilian deaths. The rise of nationalism and white supremacist views not just in the U.S...ect.

What does a moment of silence for victims of the holocaust do when clearly the world has learned nothing from it.

You don't see a moment of silence here in the U.S for all the native americans slaughtered...never forget the holocaust, but do forget everything else?
